Repair Descriptions

Everything you need to know about our various repairs is below.

If wrist cuffs on tops have a lot of wear and tear or become stained we can completely replace them. Alternatively we can turn long sleeve tops into short sleeves. For Toddler Bag foot cuffs, replacement is also possible

Tops and Toddler Sleeping Bags

Knees and elbows get a hard time with rubwear. With a set of double layered Merino patches your garment will last for many more years. The damaged fabric will be removed and patch sewn securely over the area. We'll colour match patches to garments by default, unless discolouration means a contrast colour would look better. If you have a specific patch colour preference , just let us know in the comments!

(Per Pair)

Holes smaller than 5mm in diameter will be carefully darned with colourmatched threads to make the fabric strong again, avoid laddering and to achieve as invisible a finish as possible. Holes larger than 5mm will be machine darned and this will be a more visible repair.

Hole Darning

(Per Hole)

We can replace poppers in most cases, if there is a lot of fabric damage around the popper get in touch and we will advise options. We can also fit additional poppers if extra size adjustment is required.

We can repair torn or damaged seams using the same machines and threads that originally made the garment. We can usually achieve invisible repairs.

If your garment becomes stained or discolored, send it to our dye lab and we will overdye it. Dark Navy is our go-to default colour due to it's success in covering all stains. However depending in the degree of discolouration we need to cover, other shades may be possible. We only use professional, non toxic wool specific dyes
